Pingla Rahul More

Doodle for Google 2018 Contest

We are proud to announce that Ms. Pingla, the daughter of our Dadar Club Member Rahul More (L 0613) has won the Doodle for Google 2018 Contest.

The subject given was - "What inspires me?" and Pingla drew the following picture.

Pingla Rahul More is from J B Vachha High School in Mumbai. Google judges included creative mastermind Arun Iyer, YouTube Kids Creator, Rob (Harun Robert), India's YouTube Creator Sejal Kumar and the Google Doodles team lead, Ryan Germick. This year, Google asked art loving students from Class 1 - Class 10 in India, to tell the company "What inspires me?"

Thousands of children from across the country sent in their entries. Over 55% of the entries were from non-metro cities, including Visakhapatnam, Bhopal, Jabalpur, Kottayam, Bareilly and Bhubaneswar.

We are proud to announce that our Dadar Club Member CA. Prafulla P. Chhajed has been elected as President of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India for the term 2019-20 on 12th February 2019 and he is the 67th President of the Institute. With an illustrious career spanning over more than two decades, he had joined the Central Council in 2013. Then in 2018, he got elected Vice-President of the Institute for the term 2018-19. Dadar Club family congratulates him and wishes him all the best luck for his futue journey.

Dadar Club is very proud to announce the inauguration of the first edition of "Project Management" book by Club Memeber Prof. Vilas Kabre, on Sun. 28th Oct.2018 at Dadar Club Hall. The function was nicely compered by Adv. Shirish Deshpande and it was graced by distiguished personalities like - Ms. Chhaya Sehgal, Dr. Rajagopalan, Dr. R. N. Nair, Prof. M. P. Patil. Relatives and friends also attended the function and offered their best wishes to Prof. Kabre.

Dadar Club wishes best luck to the first venture of Member Prof. Vilas Kabre in Project Management field. Prof. Vilas Kabre has graduated as Mechanical Engineer from a reputed Institute V.J.T.I. and further done his Masters in Management Studies from Mumbai University.

He has worked with multinational firms with almost 38 years of industrial experience in industrial sales and marketing, project procurement and business development and retired as Exective Director.He has been a Director in Process Plant and Machinery Association of India. He also has to his credit 32 years of teaching experience as visiting faculty in reputed management institutes in Mumbai, teaching subjects such as Project Management, Operations Research and Operations Management for MMS & PG students.

Rutuja Bagwe as "ANANYA"

We are proud to announce that Ms. Rutuja Bagwe, the daughter of our member Mr. Rajan Bagwe, Membership no: L-1233,(Jt. Hon. Treasurer, Dadar Club) has bagged 7 prestigious awards as shown in the following picture. The Marathi drama is produced by famous production company "Suyog". Rutuja has played the main role of character "Ananya" in the Marathi Drama by name "Ananya". We heartily congratulate her and the proud parents. We wish her all the best for her future assignments.

She is a popular actress on Marathi TV screen. She was born in a family of doctors and architects. She stays with her family in Mumbai and pursuing her career in acting world. She did her schooling from Parle Tilak Vidayala and then went to Army School in Raigadh near Mumbai and later did her Bachelors of Science (Bsc) from Maharshi Dayanand college in Mumbai. In her school and college, she was active in sports and cultural activities. Her first debut TV serial was Nanda Saukhya Bhare, aired on Zee Marathi. Her next TV serial was Tu Maza Sangati wherein she played the character called Rakhma. She is now focusing on her career and looking forward for challenging roles. Her favorite movie is the Aamir Khan starrer film 'Rang De Basanti' of UTV. She has been appreciated very much for her performances on small screen, hence she is now all set to enter the silver screen.

Aetasha Sanzgiri as "Revati"

We are proud to announce that Ms. Aetasha Sanzgiri, the grand-daughter of our senior member Mr. M. N. Sanzgiri, Membership no: L-0314,has got a break as a lead role in the serial released by Star Pravah channel. The serial started from 19th March 2018 and Aetasha who is playing the main role as "Revati" has got big appreciation from the audience. Aetasha is a science post graduate and was doing her job. She had no background of acting or performing. However on getting this offer to perform on TV channel she sacrificed her job and concentrated on acting career. She stays with her family in Mumbai at Parel. We wish her all the best for her career as an actress.

Carl Serrao, the Member of Club, performed extremely well at the Maharashtra Senior State ranking Billiard tournament Leg 1 to finish as number 6 from the state. This is the second year in a row that Carl has achieved this distinction.
