Card Room - Rules & Regulations

Notice Date: 28th Oct. 2019

GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR CARD ROOM

. 1. Members are requested to keep cellphone on vibration mode else he will be fined Rs. 100 /- for every offense.
2. Member must go out of card room to talk on phone otherwise he will be fined Rs. 100 /- for every offense.
3. Members are requested to avoid using of unparliamentarily language and maintain silence and else disciplinary action may be taken as deemed fit in case of any complaint.
4. New Member cannot join the table in last round unless permitted by majority of players on that table.
5. New member cannot enter in case of re - deal.
6. No members / guest / should help any player in any manner for declaration of the game.
7. If any member declares the game but cannot show the game properly, then other player cannot help him to declare the game correctly.
8. In case player touches the card in the pack, he has to pull the same.
9. If a player drags the discarded card towards him then he has to take that card.
10. If with the advice or guidance of any player the rummy is declared by a player then the player who advised will have to pay fine of 10 points each to all players on the table and the player 1 out (if any)
11. If any player is caught red handed while cheating on table he will be liable for strict action as deemed fit after following proper procedure.
12. If joker is thrown, the same cannot be taken by the next player. If erroneously taken by the player, he should be declared as "double pack".
13. Open joker can be taken only by the first player. If he packs, the joker cannot be taken by any next player.
14. In case someone shows wrong rummy, other playing members if not come down can continue the game further if they have not seen the deck card. Member showing the wrong rummy and those seen the deck card shall be considered as double pack. They have to pay double pack count or actual whichever is more as their turn comes.
15. After rummy is declared if any player will announce his points less by 2 or more points and if it is alertly pointed out by any player on the table or outsider, then the accused player will have to pay double points than the points payable as a penalty. (in entry double game if the actual count is 9 points then the penalty will be 36 points)
16. If a player has less or more cards than standard number and if he tells it before the game is declared and before his / her turn comes then it will be a re - deal.
17. If a player has less or more cards than standard number and if he declares the game and if pointed out by some player then he has to double pack or count more whichever is higher.
18. If a player shows wrong rummy and if pointed out by some player then he has to double pack or count more whichever is higher.
19. If less cards are dealt and pointed out by any player then additional cards shall be dealt and game shall continue if the next person has not discarded otherwise it will be a re - deal.
20. If any card is found on the ground before the game is declared by any player it will be a re - deal if all have correct number of cards. If the card is found next to a player having 1 card short then he has to take it and it will not be a re - deal.
21. If any member before his turn pulls the card he has to compulsorily double pack as a penalty.
22. If there is last deal of the cut to be played, then the member cannot leave the table without playing the last game.
23. No member / guest can stand behind any playing member. If anyone breaks this rule deliberately then on receiving complaint that member will have to face disciplinary action as may be decided by committee.
24. Member / Guest who has paid card fee can sit in card room on any non - playing table.
25. No one can sit as a substitute except for emergency and not more than 1 deal.
26. Television will be on mute mode except for emergency news. Sports channel are given first preference but on mute mode. However for important sports the volume may be turned on.
27. If member is abusive / non co-operation on table then the majority on that table can ask that member to discontinue playing on their table. However a written complaint shall be submitted in club's office.
28. Members are solely responsible for misbehavior of their guest.
29. A player can announce at the beginning of the game if he has to leave the card room before the stipulated time. It should be agreed by majority of players on the table.
30. In case of any dispute, the decision of the Sub - Committee members / Managing Committee member shall be final and binding.
31. Kind cooperation and whole hearted support of all players is requested for smooth functioning of card room, to maintain the decorum, discipline and dignity of the Club.

RULES REGULATIONS FOR 27 CARDS RUMMY GAME


1. Maximum 6 members can participate on one table, however 5 players shall play with one in and one out option for 6th player.
2. The 7th player has to wait for 2 deals and then 2 tables shall be formed.
3. On arrival of 7th player new table shall be formed. There will be 4 & 3 on two table. 8th member has to join the table of 3 players. The 9th player can join any table.
4. New member has to join the table which has less number of players.
5. Every member is required to play minimum 16 deals or 2 hours whichever is less.
6. On losing money the player can change the table after one hour.
7. If a player leaves the table before 10 deals on winning and without any emergency, necessary action shall be taken as deemed fit.
8. Any members can declare the game if he has -
a. 10 - Jokers
b. 10 - Duplicates
c. 4- Pure sequences with trios / sequences for the remaining cards.
d. Double jackpot (8 Jockers)
e. 4 - Tanalas
In case of a to e above the player has to take either discarded card or top card on the deck to declare the game else it will be a wrong rummy and the player has to double pack or count more if there are no 4 pure sequences.
9. If a player has 4 pure sequences, then those 4 sequences / trios and other sequences with jokers will not be counted and all the remaining cards are required to be counted when rummy is declared by other player.
10. Count is considered as NIL if a player has 9 duplicates or 9 jokers in hand.
11. If Fantoosh is taken out as joker, the same and all Aces will be considered as valid jokers.
12. If Fantoosh is a joker, then spade queen, spade king, spade 2 and spade 3 will be valid jokers (If agreed by all players).
13. The immediate 2 lower and 2 upper cards of the joker shall be valid jokers (If agreed by all players).

RULES REGULATIONS FOR 21 CARDS RUMMY GAME


1. Maximum 7 members can participate on one table, however 6 players shall play with one in and one out option for 7th player.

9. Whenever kitty master is leaving the table he shall hand over the charge to the second highest card puller while cut for seat.
10. Any members can declare the game if he has -
a. 8 - Jokers
b. 8 - Duplicates
c. Minimum 3 pure sequences / trios / sequences with jokers and no extra unconnected card /s
d. Two jackpots (same suit of joker with its immediate upper and lower cards of same suit)
e. 3- Tanalas ( same 3 cards )
In case of (a) to (e) above the player has to take either discarded card or top card on the deck to declare the game else it will be a wrong rummy and the player has to double pack or count more if there are no 3 pure sequences.
11. If a player has 3 pure sequences, then those 3 sequences, trios and other sequences with jokers will not be counted and all the remaining cards are required to be counted if the game is declared by a player.

Dadar Club F & B Guest Rules

Bar & 4th floor Multicusine Restaurant

(Other than dry days & Events in Bar)

1- On Wednesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday the Guest fee will be Rs. 200 /- per person and Maximum 4 guests per Member.

Stag guests with stag Member are strictly not allowed in Multicuisine restaurant on 4th floor on these days from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM. However on the days of Bar Events stags will be allowed in Multicuisine restaurant on 4th floor.

2- On all week days from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM - Rs. 50 /- per person. Maximum 6 guests will be allowed per member.
The guest coupon will not be valid after 11:30 AM

3- On all week days from 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM - Rs. 100 /- per person.
Maximum 6 guests will be allowed per member.

4- On all week days from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM - Rs. 50 /-
Maximum 8 guests will be allowed per member. This slot is made specially for ladies kitty parties.
Free entry for lady guest has been discontinued.
The guest coupon taken before 6:30 PM will not be valid after 6:30 PM

5- Monday, Tuesday & Thursday from 6:30 PM to 11:30 PM - Rs. 100 /- per person.
Maximum 6 guests will be allowed per Member.
6- Monday, Tuesday & Thursday from 6:30 PM to 11:30 PM - Rs. 100 /- per person.
Maximum 6 guests will be allowed per Member.
7- On the days of Events in the Club the guest entry rules may change as per the decision of Managing Committee.

3rd Floor Restaurant


8- 1- On Wednesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday the Guest fee will be Rs. 50 /- per person and Maximum 6 guests per Member. Stags will be allowed with members. On Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday the 3rd floor restaurant facility will not be available.

All the above rules & fees may be ammended further.

No Smoking

Smoking is strictly prohibited within the premises of Dadar Club. If any Member or Guest breaks this rule, necessary action as deemed fit will be taken.

ID Cards

Notice Date: 8th Feb. 2019

ID Card Compulsary

W.e.f. 1 st March 2019 signing of register by members at front desk will be discontinued and entry of members to the Club will be only by swiping of membership card at Dadar club front desk. Entry to all departments of Dadar club will be restricted if member does not swipe his membership card at front desk.
Guests' register will be available at front desk for members to register the names of guests accompanying the members. Member signing their guests should compulsorily be present within the premises of Dadar Club from the time of guest's entry till the guest leaves the club premises.

Restaurant & Bar Guests

Notice Date: 30th Oct. 2018

W.e.f. 1st Nov.2018 at Multicuisine restaurant (4th floor) stag-Guests will be allowed only with Members' families & lady-spouse members on Wed. Fri. Sat. Sun. between 6:30pm to 9:30pm. On 2nd floor Bar all food items will be served from 8:30pm onwards. This arrangement is till the further notice.

Laptops

Notice Date: 12th Oct. 2018

It has been observed that some members are misusing the Dadar Club facilities - in particular the restaurant on the 4th floor and Bar on 2nd floor, to conduct their office work or business on regular basis. The Members have passed a resolution in the AGM held on 07/10/2018 to prevent such misuse and directed the Management to take appropriate action against such members who are misusing the Club Facilities. It is therefore, decided that the Members shall not use the restaurants and other Club facilities to conduct their office work or business on regular basis or frequently. Use of Laptop, under the aforesaid circumstances, in the restaurants and in other Club Areas will be allowed for a maximum of 2 hours. Members can use the 2nd floor lobby outside the library, for the use of laptops for a period more than 2 hours.

Management will take appropriate disciplinary action against any member found to be in violation of the aforesaid rule.

Guest coupons

Notice Date: 12th Oct. 2018

It has been observed that some members purchase the guest coupons in the morning, the same coupons are used again for some other guests in the evening or for the same guests even if they have exited the club in the morning.

It is therefore, decided that:
Guest coupons for morning session will be valid till 3:30 P.M. However for post lunch session from 3:30pm onwards separate coupons will have to be purchased notwithstanding the same guest continues to use the Club facilities or not. Guest Coupons issues in favour of a particular guest(s) can not be used again in respect of any other guest. The Guest Coupon(s) shall stand cancelled once the guest exits the Dadar Club facility.

Management will take appropriate disciplinary action against any member found to be in violation of the aforesaid rule

Billiards Rules & Regulations - 16/07/2018


1. Billiard Department timings:

a. 1:45pm to 2:00pm - Table cleaning time
b. 2:00pm to 9:45pm - Play time
c. Open all 7 days of the week

2. Playing System
Members desiring to play shall put up their name on the board for that table. Order of play will be determined strictly by names on the board. The name first on the board shall have choice of game vis-a-vis Billiards or snooker. No member can put his name on another table while his current game is in progress.

3. Playing slots duration
a. Solo Practice - 30 mins
b. 2, 3 players - 30 mins
c. 4 players - 60 mins
d. Solo practice only allowed when no other name is on board

6. PreferencePreference will be given to regular members on Table 1 and Table 2. Casual members will be allowed to play on these tables when no members are using the same.
a. Applicability : From 1st Aug 2018 onwards

7. Fresher Rule
a. Applicability : Regular members only
b. Any player/s who has played at least 60 mins (2 slots) or more, cannot put his name on the board for the table at which a Fresh member is playing till the fresh member completes 2 slots
c. Fresh members desiring to play their first game should put up their name on the board as per regular rule. If two names are already on board then the fresh members will have to wait their turn.

8. Dress code
a. No Shorts
b. No chappals

9. Silence Silence to be maintained in the billiard room at all times. Cell phones need to be placed in silent mode and all calls need to be attended to outside the billiard room.
10. General
Members should maintain utmost decorum.
a. Only sitting marker can be used for member's indoor service.
b. Sofas are for sitting. Please place all cue cases under the table so as to not cause inconvenience for other players.

11. Markers
a. break timings
i. Table 1 - 5:00 - 5:30 pm
ii. Table 2 - 5:30 - 6:00 pm
iii. Table 3 - 6:00 - 6:30 pm

b. If less than 3 markers report for duty on any given day then they will be assigned as below. Players desiring to avail of marker facility should put their names only on the corresponding table.
i. Table 1 - if only one marker
ii. Table 1, 2 - if only 2 markers

c. Only sitting marker can be used for member's indoor service.

d. Markers are empowered to enforce the above rules. All members are requested to cooperate with the markers to ensure smooth functioning of the billiard room.

ID cards, Guest coupons & Car stickers compulsory

Notice Date: 4th of April 2017 All Members entering the Club premises shall have to display their membership ID card and make an Entry in the Register kept at the Ground floor Level or Swipe the same. Those member's who are not carrying the Membership Card may be restricted to enter the Club Premises. The guests will not be allowed in any department without valid guest coupons. The members introducing the Guest to the Club will have to make an Entry of the Guest Name and number of Guests etc in the Guest Register maintained at the Ground floor Level with the Members signature and Membership Number. The Member will have to pay the requisite amount as Guest fee to the Club as per the Rates mentioned on the Notice Board for Restaurant's, Bar and Various departments. All members have been given Car stickers. Those members who do not have Car stickers may still collect the same from the Office on or before the 10th of April 2017. Every Member is allowed two nos. Car Stickers. The TRIG Guards may not allow any cars in the basement without valid car sticker and/or Membership ID Card. It is also noticed that the Members tend to enter the Club via the Basement or Ground floor without signing the Members Register and / or Guest Register. Everyone is earnestly requested to follow the procedure being set up as forestated. Please note that any violations of the above rules by the Members the Guards may not allow them to enter the Club. The Undersign therefore appeals to all Dadar Club Members to kindly co-operate and carry the Membership ID Card and the Sticker on the Vehicle to avoid any further inconvenience. These steps are taken keeping in mind the safety of Members and their guests and so also the Club's Staff and the Contractor's Staff. All members are requested to cooperate.

Car Stickers

From 1 st April 2017, Members' cars will be allowed in the club's basement only on veryfying the valid car stickers provided by the club. To avoid any further inconvinience, you are requested to collect the stickers if not collected so far. Members who want to park their cars in the basement must have cars with Dadar Club's car sticker pasted on the front or back glass. Also Dadar Club's ID card must be produced on request by the security guard. Maximum two cars per member are allowed in the basement. Please note car sticker is compulsary for every car parked in Dadar club basement. Members who drive down the cars in basement without car stickers will have to pay penalty of Rs.500 and also disciplinary action will be taken against such members. All these rules are framed to stop outsiders and guests from parking their cars in basement so that club members do not suffer. Entry Register

It has been observed that few members are neither signing the entry register nor swiping the card on entering the club. Also the guests are taken to various departments without paying the guest fees. Some of the members after parking their cars in the basement directly go to the bar and restaurants with their guests without paying the guests fees. Even after several requests some of the members are not following the rules which causes revenue loss to the club.

In view of above the management is compelled to take decision as follows -

* Disciplinary action will be taken against the members who do not sign the entry register or swipe the membership card at reception three times or more.

* If the guests are taken to any department without paying the guest fees, the member will be fined Rs. 500 and a fine of Rs. 500/- per guest will be charged.

* If the member will refuse to pay the fine no service will be given to the member and his guests and disciplinary action will be taken against the member.

Guests Drop

Members are requested to drop their guests at the car entrance gate, so that they will enter from the main entry of the club from the reception lobby. This arrangement is made since it has been observed that some members directly go on the upper floors from basement, without paying the guest fees. Members are requested to cooperate in the interest of the club.

Guest Fees

The revised guest fees effective from 23rd October 2017 are as follows-

On 2nd floor Bar, 3rd floor Restaurant & 4th floor RestoBar
* Rs. 80/- per guest on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Sunday.
* Rs. 100/- per guest on Wednesday, Friday & Saturday.
* Rs. 200/- or more, per guest on dry days.

Breakfast on 4th floor RestoBar 8 am to 11 am Rs. 50/- per guest

If any member or member's guest is found smoking within the premises of the Club, strict disciplinary action will be taken agaist the primary member which should be noted.

Swimming Pool

The Swimming Pool will remain closed on every Monday

Swimming Pool members who use the lockers are requested to bring their own locks and keys. The locker should be left open and in empty condition after the swimming session is over. The locker found locked after swimming hours will be sealed and Rs. 500/- fine will be levied. If the member will not turn up the next day the locker will be broken at member's risk and the articles therein will be retained in the office for 3 days.Rs. 1000 fine will be charged on collecting the articles from the office. Dadar Club will not be responsible for any damage or loss of any nature.

The Gymn & Health Club will be closed on every Sunday after 2 pm

14- In any case no one is allowed to assault anyone within the club Premises.
15- Members & guests are requested to respect and follow the instructions of Bar committee and Managing Committee members.
16- No clicking of pictures and videos allowed without prior permission of Managing Committee or Bar Committee.

Whosoever is interested in any cctv footage / CD / VCD / DVD of club meetings etc. and / or any documents related to club , should apply to the Managing Committee and take the inspection of the same, with prior appointment. The inspection will be given in presence of the representative of the Managing Committee. Clicking pictures of any footage / documents will not be allowed. Please note copy of any CD / DVD or document will not be given. This decision is in the interest of the club.

Lobby

It has been observed that the reception lobby is used as a Meeting venue by certain members, which is strictly not allowed. Such members are requested to hire the conference room or take the guests to bar or restaurants by paying the necessary guest fees. Disciplinary action will be taken against the members who will not follow the rule.

The Managing Committee is pleased to announce that the suggestions box located on ground floor at front desk of Dadar Club will now serve as Suggestions and Cheque drop box for the purpose of payment of subscription charges of ordinary and new ordinary members. Members are requested to note that it is compulsory to write their name, membership number, mobile / telephone number and e-mail address (if available) on the back side of the cheque before depositing it in the drop box. Failure to do so will lead to non deposit of cheque until the above details are provided to the accounts department. Also, the members can collect their receipts of such cheques from the front desk after 5 working days from the date of dropping the cheque. Also, the above facility is in addition to the existing modes of payment offered by Dadar Club. We request the members to use the drop box facility to make their prompt payments.

Residential Rooms

01- Residential room bookings will be open 6 (Six) months prior to the month of stay.
02- For Deluxe rooms Rs. 3,500/- plus taxes and Suite room Rs. 5,000/- plus taxes till further notice.
03- Check in time is 11 am and Check out time 10 am.
04- Value added services like Wi-Fi, parking in premises, in room food service will be provided to room guest during their stay free of cost.
05- Confirm bookings to affiliated members will be given on 100% advance payment.
06- Dadar Club members can get confirmed booking upon 50% advance booking balance payment plus tax shall be made at the time of check in.
07- The members of Dadar Club and affiliated club members will be provided booking service via email confirmation, RTGS / NEFT payments accepted.
08- Dadar Club will charge 50% of cancellation charges to members and affiliated club members from the date of booking to 30 days prior to the date of stay, after which 100% of cancellation charges will be applicable.
09- In case of cancellation, rooms will be allotted to the member on waiting list on first come first serve basis.
10- Bulk bookings (more than 3 rooms per member) is available to members for their weddings, family functions etc. against 100% advance payment plus taxes.
11- In case of such bulk booking cancellation, 50% of cancellation charges will be applicable from the date of booking to 15 days prior to the date of stay, then after 100% of cancellation charges will be applicable.
